Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

this little CBR has joined my ever growing pile of motorcycles. 2015, 16K km. bike is to be sold to a buddy, but she will be stored here.

funny enough, i now have 1 of almost every kind of mass produced motorcycle engine. 2 I4s, 1 V4, 1 I2, 1 V2, and this single. I need to get a triple in here and then a 6 to complete the gang.

also need a bigger garage...

Need both an inline and a flat 6.

And probably should get a twingle, too.

If you move to rural Saskatchewan, there's plenty of room for building a garage.

Besides those y ou also need W ankel, flat- 2, flat- 4, V3 and square four engines to complete the list. We can skip H4, I5, V5, V8, V10 and V12 as they are too obscure for being mass produced.

Since when did V3 get mass-produced?

And does the RG500 Gamma count as a square-4, or something else, given that the banks are angled IIRC?

Oh, and did the Horex VR6 ever enter production?

Honda had couple of 2-stroke V3 engines in production in 80's . MVX250F might be produced in highest number of these.

RG500 has a square four but there are some older models using similar layout too. I thought that the banks were in the same angle but at different height.

Horex was in production at some point but I would expect that the the production numbers were very minimal. Maybe it could be counted too if there are more t ha n 100 of these?

only ones that really are on that ‘mass produced’ list are the flat 2 and 4. and even then its really only been 1 model that had the flat 4.

100's too low, because that lets the Honda NR in, and something tells me Peter Black isn’t putting a NR in the stable.

And same angle/different height makes sense for the RG - I was thinking, in the plane that includes both crankshafts, the cylinders are canted over at an angle (the same angle, though) relative to that. But, that plane isn’t parallel to the ground, so...

If you look at a map you’ll clearly see Saskatchewan has 4 corners ;)

God damn I hate single cylinder street bikes.

Also you need a triple.
